Travel Safe is for residents of Singapore traveling internationally from Singapore. This Plan includes substantial cancellation, luggage, medical & repatriation cover. Trip Cancellation is a pre-travel benefit that covers you from the moment you buy your policy. The remaining cover applies from when you leave your home in Singapore to go directly to the place you depart from for your travel overseas and ends when you return to your home in Singapore. Travel Safe is automatically extended until your journey can be completed if your return home is delayed due to injury, illness or delays in public transport.

Below is a Summary of Benefits, which aims to provide a brief description of each of the product's benefits. Please be sure to read the Policy Wording carefully for the complete details of the 'Coverage Agreement' and which types of cover are provided under each plan. Please also note that General Exclusions do apply as well as limits to the cover, and these are set out in the Policy Wording.

Medical Expenses Incurred Overseas

Covers medical expenses incurred Overseas due to an Accident, Injury, or Illness. Outpatient and In-patient expenses are covered, including: Medical, Hospital, Surgical, and Nursing. Emergency Dental Expenses arising from Injuries during the Journey are also covered.

Travellers aged over 70 years are eligible for up to 40% of the sum insured.

Overseas Hospital Confinement Benefit

Pay SGD 200 for every complete day the Traveller is hospitalised whilst overseas.

Accidental Death & Disablement

Covers death and disablement arising from an accident during your Journey.

This benefit is limited to SGD 50,000 for travellers aged over 70 years, and SGD 25,000 for children

Loss of Baggage & Personal Effects

Covers loss or damage to baggage, clothing, personal effects, Golfing Equipment and portable Personal Computers.

This benefit includes a sub-limit of up to SGD 500 for any one article or pair or set of articles; and up to SGD1,000 for Valuables including Golfing Equipment and Personal Computers.

Baggage Delay

Pays SGD 200 if the Traveller's baggage is delayed for more than 12 consecutive hours.

Loss of Travel Document

Covers the costs incurred to replace travel documents that were lost of stolen during the journey.

Theft of Personal Money

Covers cash that has been lost during the Journey due to theft.

Travel Delay

Pays SGD 100 for each complete, consecutive 12 hours of delay.

Travel Misconnection

Covers expenses incurred as a result of the misconnection of an aircraft, train or cruise-liner.

Flight Overbooking

Covers additional expenses such as hotel accommodation and meals if the Traveller is unable to board their flight due to overbooking and no alternative flight can be provided within 12 hours.

Trip Cancellation

Covers for lost deposits and cancellation fees for pre-paid travel arrangements due to unforeseen circumstances neither expected nor intended by you or which are outside of your control.

Trip Curtailment

Covers additional travel or accommodation expenses incurred or forfeited after the commencement of the Trip.

Personal Liability

Covers the Traveller against liability to third parties or damage to their property caused by his/her negligence.

Covers expenses incurred in returning the remains of the traveller, who suffers loss of life during the trip or approved reasonable costs of local funeral overseas.

Arrange and pay for an additional return trip airfare for one Relative or friend if you cannot be evacuated and require hospitalisation for more than 5 days.

Accompany Unsupervised Child Home to Singapore

Arrange and pay for an additional return trip airfare for one Relative or friend to accompany your child(ren) home following your hospitalisation.

Compassionate Return to Singapore

Arrange and pay for an additional return trip due to the death of your wife, husband, child, father or mother living in Singapore.
