Medical Only is for residents of Hong Kong traveling internationally from Hong Kong. This Plan provides essential travel insurance and is suitable for short trips particularly to neighboring China and within Asia and includes hospitalisation benefits and evacuation and repatriation assistance. Cover for each insured person applies from the time the person leaves their home in Hong Kong to go directly to the departure point for the journey overseas and ends upon their safe return to their home in Hong Kong. Medical Only is automatically extended until your journey can be completed if your return home is delayed due to injury, illness or delays in public transport.

Medical Expenses Incurred Overseas

Covers medical expenses incurred Overseas due to an Accident, Injury, or Illness. Outpatient and In-patient expenses are covered, including: Medical, Hospital, Surgical, and Nursing.

Accidental Death & Disablement

Covers death and disablement arising from an accident during your Journey.

Travellers aged under 18 or over 70 years are eligible for up to 50% of the sum insured.

Personal Liability

Covers the Traveller against liability to third parties or damage to their property caused by his/her negligence.

24 hour Repatriation of Mortal Remains

Covers expenses incurred in returning the remains of the traveller, who suffers loss of life during the trip.

Funeral / Cremation Overseas

Covers reasonable, approved expenses incurred in order to hold an overseas funeral or cremation, should the traveller suffer death while overseas.

Compassionate Overseas Visit by a Relative

Arrange and pay for one Relative or friend if the traveller cannot be evacuated and requires hospitalisation for more than 5 days.

Accompany unsupervised child home to HK (Child Guard)

Arrange and Pay for one Relative or friend to accompany the traveller's children home following hospitalisation of the traveller.

Compassionate Return Trip to Hong Kong

Arrange and pay for an additional return trip due to the death of your wife, husband, child, father or mother living in Hong Kong.
